Bobby dedicated his life to trains. They were his passion. If you knew Bob, when ever you would hear the cry of train horn in the distance, you would think of him. Although his body may be gone, Bob still lives. If you ever doubt this, just sit at railroad crossing as a train passes. When he waves to you from the engineer's seat and lets the horn whale, you will then understand.
Before Bobby passed, he had contributed
greatly to the
formation
of the first 1-1/2" scale model train club in Bakersfield
California.
We
Lost Bobby to a life long battle with
Cystic Fibrosis. Bobby
never let this disease get the better of him. To him, it was more of
an inconvenience than a disease.
